2 oz. Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye
1 oz. Lemon Juice
1 oz. Simple Syrup
1/2 oz. Red Wine
1 Maraschino Cherry
Add all ingredients (except wine) over ice in a shaker. Shake and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Gently float wine on top with a barspoon. Garnish with cherry.
2 oz. Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Water
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
1 Orange Peel
1 Maraschino Cherry
Muddle sugar, water, and bitters in glass. Add whiskey and stir over ice. Garnish with orange peel and maraschino cherry.
2 oz. Dad’s Hat Pennsylvania Rye
1/2 oz. Peppercorn Sage Simple Syrup
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
2 Dashes Orange Bitters
1 Orange Peel
1 Sage Leaf
Syrup: Combine 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower to simmer, add 1/4 cup whole black peppercorns, 1 cup chopped sage leaves and steep for ten minutes. Allow mixture to cool, strain leaves and refrigerate. Place orange peel in rocks glass and press firmly. Add syrup, bitters and rye over ice and stir. Garnish with sage.
